What is SamePage and why is it important?
SamePage, which is exclusive to Elegant Ensembles, is a patent pending communication tool that was born out of necessity. It is crucial for the correct information to be relayed from the client to Elegant Ensembles to the musicians performing at the event. We organize over 85 weddings a year and when you consider the number of emails that must be generated to keep five or so people "on the same page", it becomes obvious that emailing the correct information, especially if details change over time, is an arduous and risky task.
With SamePage, clients have a login that allows them to enter all of the wedding day details that are necessary for the musicians. The client's contract is derived from this information and the SamePage information is only modified by Mark Snow via a specific request from the client. Elegant Ensemble clients can also select, arrange, preview/listen and verify their music with Mark through this tool as well. In addition, they can keep track of when the deposit and contract were received.
In turn, Elegant Ensemble's member musicians are "invited" by Mark Snow to accept the event using SamePage. Along with a consolidated list of all the events that a musician is performing, SamePage shows each musician your events detailed performance information including: the wedding date, ceremony/prelude start time, location, dress, rain location, music selections, and directions. All updates performed by Mark are sent to the musicians via this tool as well. This advancement in communication allows everyone to be on the same page so that emails do not have to be continuously sent with the possibility of error. The information you provide and see is consisent and identical to what all the musicians performing also see.
You will receive a login to your SamePage account at the beginning of the booking process and before a contract is emailed to you. You can login at anytime and complete event details to keep all the musicians informed.
